I'm sick of those TV commercials that portray White men as idiots!

You guys are mmissing a larger point. Entertainment media consumes a large portion of our lives and the lives of our kids...to simply turn it off isnt an option always. This is something that distorts a childs view of a father. The dumb male is in sit-coms , commercials, cartoons and some movies.

I'm surprised anyone else noticed this phenomenon. Usually when I point out that the white guy is always either 1) The bad guy 2) The idiot 3) The whiny or effeminate one, or 4) Is ugly and is put in a setting with a cooler and very suave black male in commercials, people look at me funny. I suppose that because I'm a white man, privelaged in the eyes of America, it seems whiny at best to complain about what is probably all just in my head anyways.
It has gotten so obvious by now that I feel others around me see it too. It's actually pretty hilarious because I highly doubt that any amount of attempts by the forces that be, who keep trying to shove the PC agenda down our throats, will achieve any kind of real success. In the meantime I'm highly amused by the characters in these commercials.
My favorite is this new cell phone commercial where this beautiful blonde girl goes on a blind date with the 'French model'. He's a doofy, pale skinned, white nerd with thick glasses, and a sneering expression. He walks up and escorts the girl down the street. She looks back at the sexy and intelligent black guy who looks just like a younger Obama and has the smart phone that she should have used so she could have seen her date's picture before agreeing to the date, like 'Help Me!'. He just shakes his head like "You should have had a better phone like me."

white men are simply more comfortable with themselves to ALLOW themselves to say or do stupid things intentionally without regard for what other's think of their behavior.

black men have a culture that revolves around trying be as cool and as masculine as possible in social situations.

this is especially true when they around others of another race.

they must always be on guard so that they portray the right appearance to others.

white men can be as cool as the black man. he just needs to start practicing.

of course many white men are this way too and vice versa.

however, as far as blacks being smarter .. don't make me laugh ..

tests disprove this with regular certainty.

furthermore .. the appearance of intelligence and actual intelligence are two different things ..

a white man can appear to look stupid, though he is actually quite smart, simply by ALLOWING himself to say or do something stupid because he is secure with himself.

on the contrary .. a black man can appear to look smart, though he may actually be of below average intelligence (just an example), simply by keeping his mouth shut and by not allowing himself to do anything that may make him look foolish.

thought i might come back and let you guys know .. whether useful to my argument or not ..

i am a white man of well above average intelligence.

it took me about 3 minutes to formulate that thought and type it out in one continuous effort, unbroken by any pauses in thought or backtracks of correction.

yet, i am often thought of as a silly person by my friends and family, as well as social acquaintances.

however, in the case of this thread, stupid is clearly being used to describe foolish more than anything, though some clearly mean stupid i'm sure.

it is arrogant to assume someone you are engaged with in any capacity, social or otherwise, is of lower intelligence. this is difficult to truly quantify or assess, that's why there are tests. foolish, however, is easy to recognize.

You're a liar..I'm 60 years old and I remember nothing close to this. Maybe the Tarzan movies made 60 years ago but the the blacks they depicted were jungle savages that actually existed. Amos and Andy really depicted a beautiful world when the blacks had their own neighborhoods, their own business,doctors, schools etc...they were incredibly happy..there was no racial strife. Integration destroyed everything..forced upon us by the tribe for one reason..to destroy the white Christian family.. For the last 50 years we've seen Bill Cosby in "I Spy" ( a real man still trying to reason with the 80% 0f his people who
still prefer to play the trickster..instead of the productive contributor) Then came the years of the black police chiefs the action heroes reported to. Now the black actors are continually shown as "always wise,strong and intellectual..even when the reality in the real world shows another reality. With every advantage of discriminatory laws, the black race were only led by the nose to become vicious white-hating racists.

The "whites" play the fool..for it so suits the afore mentioned agenda. (the actors portraying whites do seem to be white..but look closely..eyes close together, prominent noses, high foreheads, a light yellowish-white skin color (think Seinfeld, Seth Rogen, Adam Sandler, and yes, Hugh Hefner)..they are of Mongolian descent and Attila runs strong in their blood.

Roots was a lie..a plagiarism of a fictional book stolen by a racist pseudo intellectual black..it's promotion a jewish atrocity of the most vicious level..that served it's purpose well. By the way, Johnson was a crypto and it is highly probable the Bushes are too. Many Ashkenazi settled in Texas in the 1800's and changed their name.

White people have been the "smart" ones and black people have been the "idiots" for literally centuries in virtually all forms of western media. But now during the last 20 years white people have become the "idiots" (without any of the actual slavery or deprivation of their rights, of course) and they act like they've been completely robbed of their dignity.

Get over it you whiners. Do what you best and watch some more TV commercials. And while you're at it, get to work on another list of racist portrayals of white people in TV commercials.

Seth Rogen sure has played a lot of these roles,,,thinking of Green Hornet.

I'm sick to death of white men being portrayed as evil, stupid, ignorant, dangerous, terrorists, etc...

Meanwhile, blacks, Hispanics, Native Americans, and women, are all brilliant ass-kicking "heroes".

This, even though the white man has invented and provided (by FAR) more modern conveniences and scientific knowledge than any other single demographic. And all these sour dipshits all take it totally for granted.

How is it that white men are responsible for the VAST majority of technological advances in the western world? And written the VAST majority of literature that has lasted hundreds of years.

I think the media has done it's job on you. And we all know just how trustworthy the media is, when it comes to telling the truth, and presenting things in an accurate light... Right?
