Why do dream characters so often turn hostile when you become lucid and confront them???
Seriously, I've tried it many times and the reactions are always one of the following.

1. The dream characters are total NPCs who are oblivious and seem to just run on auto-pilot

2. The dream characters look at me as if I am stupid or crazy and continue on their way

3. The dream characters seem to be sentient in their own right and often turn malevolent or outright hostile

Sometimes I don't even have to outright tell them that I am dreaming and they are a figure in my dream. It is enough to just become lucid and suddenly look around at the "people" surrounding me with lucid awareness and they often times get really evil and seem to have cold, demonic eyes and might even try to attack me. It really makes no sense but, thankfully, it isn't every single lucid dream character that I have encountered.

People will say that it is all just "my own mind reacting how I expect it to" but that isn't true at all. I mean, if I'm lucid dreaming and totally in control of my subconscious at that point, I would want to manifest some hot chicks or something, not a bunch of soulless, black eyed nightmare spawn.

Every now and then I will encounter the opposite and the characters seem to be objectively sentient, but with a positive aura about them or something angelic. They seem to be amused with my lucidity and thinking that I am in some advanced state of awareness.

Are these just angels and demons or what???

Well, how would you react if you were awake and someone tried to convince you that you do not exist except temporarily in his mind?

Thats the thing is that I can sort of understand that scenario on their part. However, sometimes I will just become lucid suddenly and look up at the dream characters with "awake" eyes and they seem to instantly turn hostile and malevolent like they can sense something about my state of mind. They have even tried to outright attack physically.

This isn't always the case, but it has happened often enough to where I've learned to turn lucid and just sort of keep it to myself or play along with the plot line of the dream.

Re: Why do dream characters so often turn hostile when you become lucid and confront them???
Just had a dream somewhat like this, here's what I suggest...

If you encounter any malevolent upper 3rd dimensional or lower 4th dimensional trickster figure/impersonator in your dreams and/or during astral travel out of body experience tell them in no uncertain terms with true resolve...

"SHOW ME YOUR TRUE FACE"

They have to do that or back down.

Any attacks from them should be met with that or you can call upon

"LIGHT OF GOD".

"POWER OF GREAt SPIRIT"

Or any similar mantra that affirms the true one God's power and protection over you.

Affirm in your prayers that you will only interact with positive benevolent entities while you dream travel.

And trying to manifest sexual partners in dreams isn't a good idea anyways, that seems to invite tricksters or bad ones in my experience.

Just suggestions I am offering, good luck!

Hey mate. Weird world. If they react like demons its probably because they are. Then again, it could be demons you have created yourself. Just let go of fear. One thing for you: Aug Tellez. Check him out. Put some work into it...

Best wishes

In my experience you can remove any of them anytime you want. Vaporize them literally.
They could be stronger more resistant forces within your subconscious fighting for survival if you cannot remove them.

It really does seem that the dream world has its own laws and physics that we are all subject to.

It just makes no sense why so many would turn hostile when looking at them clearly and focusing on their eyes to see any signs of independent sentience.

It can't just be the subconscious because when lucid, it is obviously not my choice to have these beings turn into negative entities.

I've tried just flat out asking them "who are you?" and they usually give names that either make no sense or ones that I haven't heard before until I look it up online the next morning and realize that these names do actually exist in another language or something.

Really strange stuff!

Think of the movie The Matrix, they aren't awake yet so they reject the idea/you. From what I've read dream characters are a part of your subconscious.

They're demons pure and simple, and they already know you and know you have a predispositioned negative opinion of them. Lucid dreaming is a form of magick and it makes no sense to me or them why you would mess around with them but to each his own.

Re: Why do dream characters so often turn hostile when you become lucid and confront them???
I had many lucid dreams over the years, I dont think personally that its the same for everyone, In my case if there are any characters I have no control over them.

If I tell them its a dream I think most of the time they dont care or make an argumemt of why I am wrong.

Where we differ totally is I am never attacked, the only such case if I was being attacked before I was lucid then like I said I have no control over them so the attack will continue but, I am basically a God once I am lucid.

For me whats interesting is how certain things like flying is super easy to do, but to walk thru a wall is super hard. Not Inmposible but Really hard. Also Interesting is I cant spawn a particular person. At all. or any hot girl.

Talking about attacks I had a cool dream where I was the expectator or a battle between angels and demons, I became lucid and became one of the most powerful angels and started doing some powerful spells, one of my favorites.

Is lucid dreaming actually a form of magick? What if it spontaneously occurs?
