Tourism, security, forex, unemployment, etc Add it up. Massive costs not counting the societal fear level and unhappiness that will follow. Interesting to consider these direct and indirect costs versus the costs of deportation of those that hate the british and their culture. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26114015 Add to that, MI5 complain of not having the money to track these isis terrorist criminals after they get back from committing war crimes in Syria. So why don't they round them all up and drop them off on a remote island in the Pacific. There you go, money problems solved, society safe. |

Tourism, security, forex, unemployment, etc 3,500 ISIS soldiers have come back to Britain from Syria. And the authorities dont have the money to track them or monitor them. Why they got allowed back in ?? Anybodies guess, maybe our government is living in an alternate reality or something.. But it would be so cost effective to round them all up onto a cargo ship in chains, and drop them off on easter island. JOB DONE> |

Tourism, security, forex, unemployment, etc In man hours you'd be looking at milions, tourism to Manc tends to be sport of music orientated so I don't really see a fall after the inital week or two. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74946801 It won't be billions let alone tens of them. Over time and considering that the whole country would be affected----many billions. |

Tourism, security, forex, unemployment, etc Here in France I heard that tourism is down heaps or expected to be this season becuase of 1. the terrorism that has happened here in recent times. 2. crime towards tourists that has increased, or rather th perception of it, around tourist sites. mostly =, so i am told, the biggest part of the loss of tourism is from the Chinese and other Asian countries. i don't know if this is true and can not back it up, it is just something i was told. So yeah - this attack in Manchester certainly could effect tourism in a big way. |

Agree, guessing that the loss to the western countries that NATOed the muslim countries will end up being far greater than the western country's war costs. |
