I don't know what you think is so funny about a life threatening situation. You do realize they use water loops to keep their body temperature regulated in the spacesuit, right? It's been that way forever with spaceflight, and one of the biggest potential risks during a spacewalk is drowning. If water or vomit fills the inside of the helmet you cannot get your hands into the helmet to clear the material away from your mouth and nose. Even a watery eye can cause serious problems.



Personally I don't find Luca Parmitano nearly drowning in his spacesuit to be "funny," but I guess I'm just not enough of a sick bastard.

What's funny is I showed some kids at the HS and JHS your pictures and they called it fake. Isn't it amazing how these children are waking up to the BS. They are not believing in fairy tales anymore.
