In this case cbd-thc. So I always decarb. I go 9 grams per pound of butter or 4 cups oil. Last Edited by Ralphyboy on 05/24/2017 02:48 PM Ralphyboy |

It's practically idiot proof and makes the best pot butter ever. We made some with an ounce of really good weed and about a half of vaporized leftovers per pound of butter. We gave them to my wife's family on Christmas and got a call from everyone later that night thinking they were dying. Good times. |

It doesn't make the THC value stronger, it just carries it to the blood stream much more efficiently. I'm going to be making my first batch of canna-caramels next week.... I thought it was going to be this week, but I gotta wait until next week to get the green for it. I will also be substituting coconut palm sugar for the brown sugar because it's much healthier. Harhar...I can't wait to make some, it's like I'm running in place with the waiting. And, yes OP, every single thing I've researched has said to decarb the green first. Once the green is ground it only takes 20 min. in the oven. Last Edited by cosmicgypsy on 05/24/2017 05:05 PM You never change things by fighting the existing reality. I've wanted to try making edibles for awhile now, a long while, like years....I was a chef when I was younger, so this has more in it for me than just getting high without smoking. Heh, I just want to know that I can indeed make kickass canna-caramels. You never change things by fighting the existing reality. Use pot for pain control and if I can make more concentrated I would be in heaven. Better than those fucking opioids the doc hooks you on by a long shot! Great post! Here's a link to make it....and, , I posted it wrong earlier, the lecithin is added during the preparation of the cannabutter. I need to go back and edit the post when I'm finished here. [link to hightimes.com] Rather than using the lecithin granules, I ordered the liquid lecithin online (vitacost.com, NOW product, less than $9, and should be enough for four times of the above recipe). It just seemed a better road to go with the liquid, although the granules can certainly be used....edibles aren't cheap to make, so wherever costs can be cut, I'm down. Oh, and the lecithin I got is made from NGMO Sunflowers, rather than the GMO soy lecithin. Oh boy...harhar, I'm sooo ready to make them! You never change things by fighting the existing reality. I'm also going to make some canna-coconut oil in the future, but I wanted to use (organic) butter to make caramels in particular, for the flavor. If I were making brownies or cookies, then I would use coconut oil...it's what I use to make regular cookies with. I've scoured over that website recently, it's a good one!
