Truck Plows Through Immigration Checkpoint In Ariz., Occupants Open Fire on Border Agents

United States Border Patrol agents were involved in a shooting on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, north of Tombstone, Arizona that injured one person.

Around 3:45 p.m., a Black 2008 Dodge Dakota driving northbound on State Route 80, collided with traffic barricades at the State Route 80 Immigration Checkpoint, which was temporarily closed due to adverse weather conditions. The Immigration Checkpoint is located at the intersection of northbound State Route 80 and State Route 82.
