They're drug runners and their organization was directly founded from a group of people that included Nazi SS war criminals that the US had colluded to protect to "gain their intelligence and skills" while being pushed for and originally funded by a family that was so corrupt and fucked up in politics that they had to leave their home country of Ireland.
