No way we would move all the assets into theater, costing tens of millions of dollars, for no reason.

Someone mentioned how would we fight a war with no ground forces in theater besides the 35,000 troops we have there.

We have all the south Korean troops too, almost 2 million of them active and reserve. That's plenty of ground forces if they are halfway competent.

China seems very quiet. Are they really just going to sit back and watch their satellite state get taken out? At a time when they are buzzing ships in the south China sea?

I hope the US is prepared for Chinese support of NK.

It's a complicated situation.

China knows that if they come to the aid of NK and attack American forces, the U.S. will cancel out the trillions of dollars of debt that we owe China.

Plus, China and the U.S. economies are linked to an extraordinary degree, we depend upon each other and share a vast trade empire.

I'm not sure China would risk all that for Fat Kim. He's the belligerent party here, firing off missiles at Japan, threatnig nations with nuclear fire and all that shit.

A very complex situation here, but I believe if we chose to attack NK that China would not interfere.

I also appen to believe that the U.S. has already asked China what they would do if we attacked NK, and have an agreement in place already. Why else would China send 200,000 troops to its NK border for controlling NK refugees? Refugees from what?

With 3 carriers in theater, we are not bluffing. That is an unbelievable amount of firepower, and there is no way it is there for show. We are prepping for war with NK, there can be no doubt.

Wonder how many they would have to produce and fire at the same time in order to actually do any serious damage. Assuming a good portion would never make it 500 miles.

I've posted previously that it would take 3 Super-carriers to properly take care of NK. Two in the region could do it but if a third arrived on scene then you know it's show time. We don't send THREE Super-carriers as a "saber rattling" show of force..no. THREE means business.

Couple this with the warnings we were getting that when Trump returns home from his trip it's "go" time and yeah..
