In Las Vegas - I believe the Casinos know something is coming
I'm a member, but for obvious reasons, feel I must post this anonymously.

Executive Summary: I believe the companies that own the Las Vegas casinos know that doom is close, and are sucking up as much cash as possible, not caring about legal restrictions against cheating. I've witnessed flagrant violations of all reasonable laws of chance at a major casino on the Las Vegas strip.

----------

I think time is short for disaster. I think the casinos are cheating and soaking up as much money as possible before a financial crash. This may sound crazy, but I don't think it is.

I'm currently in Las Vegas with my family. Not really for vacation, but for some business meetings. I'm a long-time blackjack player. My dad taught me how to play and bet, and I'm pretty good. BTW, "good" means there's never a decision for a knowledgeable player to make. If you follow a perfect composition strategy (like standing on 12 and up if the dealer shows a 4,5,or 6, etc...), there are no choices to make, except for betting.

I know the rules, and every combination in composition strategy. Been playing for about 40 years now. I played for two hours today, and have NEVER seen cards run anywhere close to what I saw today. They were using machines I haven't seen before, with played cards recycled after what looked like a deck. Don't know how many decks were in the machine (they wouldn't tell me, which was new - they ALWAYS were free with how many decks they were playing with.

I saw similar results at multiple tables. I played at two different tables, and the numbers were very close. I then lurked a bit, watching at full tables, because when you watch at a table with open seats, they get suspicious and assume you're counting and dropping cash bets when the count is good and the pit boss is busy elsewhere.

I know how to count cards, but they've mostly rendered that worthless, with multi-deck machines, full-deck hands, etc...Add to that you don't know how many decks are in play, and counting means nothing.

In just over an hour of play, with usually 3 players, there were 82 hands and the dealer showed a face card (including 10s) 63 times, 68 if you consider Aces!

That's 78%, or 83% if you include ACES!

Now, in a standard 52 card deck, there 16 face cards (including 10s). That's 30% of the total. There were hands where every single card drawn by a player was a face card. Since the dealer was showing a face card, and every player was showing a face plus a small card (2s, 3s and 4s) every player drew one. That one hand cleared the table of chips, all wins for the house, since every player drew a card (a face) and busted.

In addition, every single hand where the dealer was showing a 4, 5 or 6 ended with the dealer hitting 20 or 21. They collected a BUNCH of doubled bets and split hands on those. The number of house sweeps of the table were such as I've never seen before.

This was at a major strip casino, and the atmosphere was amazingly quiet. Usually, there's a lot of noise, some cheering from time to time. Not for this couple of hours, though. Quiet as a library in the middle of the afternoon. People were getting soaked.

I never play with a lot of money. I only increase my betting when I'm playing with casino money (in other words, when I'm ahead), so they only got me for $200.

In addition, I saw one hand where every single player (4 of us) were dealt Aces and small cards (2s, 3s, 4s). The dealer had two face cards on that ones. Not a single blackjack, with every player getting an ace. On one hand, One player drew 4 Aces, split them out and ended up busting every hand.

There were two hands (again, 4 players, I believe) where every single card dealt out was a non-face card. Somewhere around 24 cards dealt (players and dealers) and the house cleared the table of bets with a 21.

I've seen great streaks, of both the player and house variety. I have never seen anything like this, across multiple tables in a single casino. Again, I've been a player for 40 years. Never seen anything REMOTELY like it.

It felt unreal. Very strange.

In DOOM, all commodities and vices are money. Not paper money.... Except, I suppose you could wipe your ass with it or burn it to cook a mean or stay warm.... If you had enough....

Exactly which part of that comment you dont understand?

I give you example anyways. So lets think that there is a wealthy community having an insider info about a doom scenario. What would you do with the money before it looses its value? Well, you can buy anything almost. From weapons to human organ, you can buy everything which would be useful protecting yourself and your family. If they wouldnt spend that money, about what they know that will be worthless, that would be pretty stupid, wouldnt it.

I used to be a computer technician for MGM properties. Those machines have been around a good 10 years. They hold something like 2 or 3 decks and think the company that makes them is called Embosser. I've taken the machine apart and seen the insides.

Just Google - Embosser Casino shuffler or something. My college professor is actually banned from all Nevada Casinos for counting cards. He even wrote a ton of books on Black Jack

OP, very interesting thread. However, for your theory to be accurate, this must be going on at more than one casino. You have stated some very detailed and very convincing information, but it was all gathered at one casino. That does not make it a Vegas-wide conspiracy. If you get a chance, it would be interesting to know if you see the same thing happening at a couple of the other major casinos on the strip. Kudos.

You can't spell 'you're', 'they're', 'tomorrow' or 'shuffler' correctly and are too lazy to put apostrophes in your words.? So, you obviously don't have the attention to detail required to have been a dealer in Vegas for 23 years. You're just a bored internet troll who never finished high school.

Cheating as the Success paradigm is what is to be expected. It just sounds like they are putting the odds in their favor, perhaps out of self-preservation.

I'm certain even Moe Green would be doing this in his casinos if a certain Michael Corleone didn't come along.
