Yes, live in San Antonio. I like it, but home is San Diego. I always feel spiritually much better and healthier in San Diego, but that is probably the sea breeze , and here in San Antonio, it is land locked there is lots of cedar and oak. No chance of ever moving back to San Diego either... don't miss traffic though on Hwy 5, 15 , 805 , 8 or 163 though.

Re: You ever "just wanna go home" but not where you are now?
Yes, I want to go home. Whatever that place is.

My dad moved the family 42 times (not even in the military) before I was 17 - I have no idea what a childhood home is like and will never know.

Born in 1955 and look forward to 'going home' and I honestly believe it is not on this planet. Am tired.

Anyone know the way to the mothership minus the probes? ufo56

I own a 3br house in the country but build buildings far from home, I live in motel rooms and it blows. I'd love to be home.

My family had a great old farmhouse. Drafty as hell. Hardwood floors in living room and kitchen. Not one piece of carpet matched in the whole place.

We moved out to by a bigger ranch, got over extended (my fault), and had to move back to town. Everyone in my family misses that old farmhouse and hated the new ranch.

That was home. Raised our kids there. New our neighbors. I fucked up. Yeah. We all want to go back there every damn day.

I get the feeling sometimes, but for the most part, I don't want a home at all. I get bored if I'm in the same place for too long.

I've found it, I have it. I had to search for it, work for it, fight for it and be blessed with it. I love where I live, with my husband. I feel blessed. Now that I have it, I'm afraid to lose it. Nothing lasts forever. Until that time comes, I will embrace this joy and be grateful for what we share, for this short time we have here together.

Re: You ever "just wanna go home" but not where you are now?
On some level we all know there is something more for us in our life! Like you I searched for it my entire life.
I was determined and refused to give up. For seven years I lived an isolated life.

My Revelation was found in the Bible believe it or not!
I'm no longer religious but it feels like I graduated.
I began to understand what it says in a spiritual fashion.

Many of you are Christian's and actually that's the first step in locating truth...your truth. That's the only truth that exists for you.

There is no universal truth! Only your truth!

We are constantly being fed limited belief's which keep us in a confused state.

We must examine ourself to see exactly what we believe. Any belief that carries a negative outcome needs to discarded and replaced.

The so-called elites are aware of how our mind functions.
Our beliefs are based on what somebody else said. Perhaps a scientific research or someone we think is more capable than our own self.

BELIEF is the basis of all creation. Not what another believes, but what you believe.

There's so much more I can reveal, but it requires more than just be response in a forum.

If you search with all your heart, you will surely find.

As my Grandfather laid dying in his bed at 83, my uncle was at his side. As my uncle read bible versus to him in his last hours my Grandfather turned to him and said with a smile, "I'm going home". Ravished by dementia, this was the first coherent and softly spoken phrase he had uttered in years.

Not really. I do hope to move down south someday, but I'm happy now. About a month ago, whole other story. I hated where I lived, so I found a bigger place for me an my kids and we re all happier now.

Yes! It's funny you mention this because I think about this a lot! I never really talk about it, but I do think about it.

Calgon!!!! Take me away!!!!!!!!!
political correctness is a doctrine.... fostered by a delusional, illogical minority...... and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media; which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Nope don't wanna go home. Old town I lived by is runned over with niqqers.

My dream home would be a house dead center of 1000 acres.

Every single day...

Yep, every day.

I had a great life and a great business and a great home in one of the coolest places. Now I only have one relative left, my 89 yr old mother and I'm stuck living in the suburbs on the edge of the desert and it's rotten hot, nothing to do and nothing but chain stores and lame restaurants for miles.

I want my old life back. I need a vegetable garden, real trees, ocean sunrises and sunsets and daily wow factors like I used to have. Nothing like any of those things here. Never ever a "wow factor". But family first so my hands are tied.

I WANT TO GO HOME, my heart is NOT in a desert. No life here, just a lot of people drudging through every day waiting to die going gentle into that good night. even people in their 20's are bored and feel like everyone else has lives not them.

The energy here sucks balls. My heart is not in this place. I need my life to be rebooted.

Re: You ever "just wanna go home" but not where you are now?
My place is back in the country east of the Austin area.
First kid came along and we moved into the city.
Then to Round Rock. Problem is, my wife is spoiled
now. Grocery store is close, fire station a couple
blocks away, cement pond in the back yard, yadi.

But I'm going back even if she won't. She wants
a house made of rock, I don't care if it's a
travel trailer and a big work shop.

I need the elms and post oaks and sandy
loam with free range chickens, a black
& tan coon hound, a little deck I can
walk out on and take a piss anytime.

Oh, I needs the interweb too.
