A higher wage is a nice little idea, but won't work in a corporate capitalism system.

The corporations simply eliminate more jobs, and raise the price of products to avoid any loss to the profit margin.

The left creates a low supply of housing by making it very hard and expensive to make new housing. Therefore demand goes up. When demand exceeds the supply the cost soars. The obvious solution is to get more housing built. But not the left. They want to scream about retarded shit and then fuck with supply and demand by handing out vouches, and rent control, and 15 wage. This in turn, causes the problem to get even worse.

To repair our economy we have to halt all imports of everything.

Tax large corporations out of existence here in the us.

Any company that grows beyond 10 locations,factories, etc, should then be taxed as a corporation at a deadly rate. This promotes free competition and eliminates monopoly.

I feel for the poor as I am one of them. I am a union employee who makes 10 An hour. I don't demand a higher wage because the greedy corporate owners of our nation will simply eliminate my job, and prices for basic goods and services will go up. I wouldn't be able to hold onto any of that extra cash because I would have to hand it all over for the higher goods and services that we all require.

The answer does not lay within a higher wage.

The answer pays within taxing large corporations out of exsistence, while promoting small companies. We also have to outlaw imports at the same time.

Of course it will, people with a bachelor degree and 0 experience start sometimes with low pay but they become highly valuable later on with lots of experience and can easily double their salary.

All of the large fast food corporations have driven the privately owned restaurants out of my town because they have more purchasing power, and can ignore regulations and get away with it by their lawyers. Mom and pop can't do that.

These corporate restaurants treat employees like a numbenumber and can do as they please with you.

Mom and pop generally aren't as bad about that because word travels. It's a more personal affair.

Corporations have created unfair monopolies.

Tax them at outrageous amounts, encorencouraging them to shrink back to small chains. This would open the economy up for whole new small chains and mom and pop businesses that can employ people.

Workers in turn have a wider selection of employment choices.

In the fiftys in st louis, my grandfather could quit one factory due to bull shit and go across the street and have another job within the day.

I live in Washington state and I can personally testify to increased prices to the point of poor people having to choose between things like medical care and groceries. Companies have also let go many people while just making their better employees work that much harder to make up for the loss.

I am all for housing the poor unemployed. We should provide these people with fema type trailers to live in until they can afford to rent a home on their own.

A full time worker dedicating his whole life to his employer should not be poor so his employer can create more working poor people and make himself rich with overabundant restaurants made for the middle class who insists on keeping those workers down so they can save 2$ on their prepared and served at the table meal twice a week.

While you are correct, that working fast food is not a way to make a living, you seem to forget that in many areas of our vast nation there is simply nowhere else to work.

The corporations got greedy and shut the factories down in these areas and went to China because our government permitted them to do so by being paid off.

At least a person is trying to work by working fast food, and not collecting government aid.
