Why don't parents make their kids work anymore?

for one, the kids have no employable skills because they've been playing video games all their lives.
two - parents are generally liberal asshats who believe that it is child abuse to make them clean their room.

Three - these brainless assholes are the parents of the next generation. How scary is that?

As soon as I turned 16, my parents sent me to get my driver's license. As soon as I got that, I had to start putting out resumes to get a part-time job, which I did. Before I turned 16, I did a lot of babysitting which I still continued once I had a part-time job. My parents paid for my university, but I also worked and paid for my own books and whatever else I needed for my classes.

A lot of parents nowadays coddle their kids. I don't think they're all coming from a bad place. Maybe they had it really hard in their youth and want to prevent their kids from going through what they did. I don't, however, think that will be of benefit to them in the real world.

Basic "kid" jobs have been flooded with illegal mexicans who think that they are lifelong careers.

Lawn mowing, snow shoveling, car washing, etc, are now done by 30 year old illegals instead of 13 year olds. Even fast food is dominated by adult illegals who will not hire high school citizens.
