I agree. Gravity is un unkown force as of today. Everyone, in the last 400 years has been having it wrong, except for one person and ONE FORCE: The electromagnetic force.

Let's me introduce to the four equations God gave to J.C.Maxwell to compensate his miserable life as a husband and a man. He secluded in his room, and brought light to the LIGHT.

He is the only person that, singlehandedly created the knowledge that shapes the current world. This magnificent man united electricity and magnetism and allowed the understanding of light and electromagnetical waves.

The remaining two others forces (strong and weak at atomic level) are THEORIES as GRAVITY is. No serious scientist consider gravity as a force, so there is ANOTHER force to be discovered yet.

Re: Unresolved mistery: What is the speed of Gravity?
Eistein told us that everything is relative, but we still don't quite accept this in everyday observations

Particles seems to be solid and good answers, but they're not because time is relative, remember?

And time is useless concept in dark energy (entaglenment, where time cease to exist) and dark matter (where space collapses). Everything else is somewhere between, but relative, remember, in a process of splitting toward dark energy and dark matter at the same time.
That gives many answers, even to double slit experiment if you think.

Gravity is then resistance to dark energy, property of matter that "wanna go" toward dark matter. but it always splits again and again... just imagine relative time and everything fits...

I know you can be picky, but I have to tell you that the theory of dark matter is something that was proposed in the 60's to justify how come the measurable and, by extension, calculable mass of observable things in the universe accounted for about 20% of the mass that SHOULD EXISTS.

So, they came with the idea of dark matter that accounts for the 80% missing mass of the whole universe.

And, how this matter is dark, CAN'T BE SEEN.

No proof yet of the existance of dark matter and, even less, of dark energy.

Don't be mad at me. I'm an engineer who studied his whole life all of these things. And I'm not stupid at all, or ignorant. Quite the opposite.

Re: Unresolved mistery: What is the speed of Gravity?
If a star explodes, the radiation waves (X, gamma, etc.) would reach Earth at the speed of light (assume a constant "c" vakue).

But what about gravity? Gravitational waves weren't included in Einstein body of work.

Just recently, some gravitational waves were sensed, but no speed has been measured yet.

Are the gravity effects instantaneous?

IT IS ALL BS

all atoms are constantly vibrating due to the existence of energy/attraction and repulsion force within charged particles within atoms. we call it thermal energy.

all matters are connected by gravity, all electrons on the surface atoms of matters are connected by f=Ke x e1e2/rr.

all electrons share their vibrating electrostatic force.

Oh, don't worry, I'm not mad, I'm just trying to go step further in my speculations.. And I'm a mechanical engineer also, but I did not spend much time in this field.
But I do believe dark matter exists. Yes, it's not proved, but I can only speculate here why: because we're searching for it with ordinary matter, that's the catch

If it is "closed anamagnetic structure" of matter, when we approach it with our measurement tools (made of ordinary matter), it also splits and we can only find something (particle) that is no more closed structure

the same goes to double slit experiment> when we approach dark energy wave with measurement tools, it also splits and we find particles that are no more dark energy wave

we think these things don't react. On the contrary, they might be overreacting...

Correct, there are no photons.

But there are no electrons as commonly imagined either. There are no "positive" and "negative" charges. It is "charge" or "discharge".

OK with atoms vibrating. Maxwell provided a theory for the 2nd law of termodynamics.

There is not such a thing as an charged electron, this is the OLD Bohr model of atoms, resembling Solar system.

Schrodinger provide the idea and the equations to describe an electron as A WAVE and not a PARTICLE. So, this wave oscillates around nucleus without being subjected to electrical attraction from protons.

The Faraday equation doesn't work at atomic level. There are two unmodeled forces: Strong, wich holds protons togheter at a nucleus, and Weak, wich describes interaction between atom nucleus and electrons (wich are waves of the type STATIONARY) wich are far from the nucleus at discrete distances (not arbitrary).

Very few persons know about THE OTHER RELATIVITY THEORY, wich was developed by a dutch scientist (Lorentz), from whom Einstein and wife stole 99% of his job!

Lorentz theory is based on the existance of aether, as Maxwell EM theory is. In his late years, being Eistein the Beatles of physics, a forgotten Lorentz credited that Einstein theory was simpler than his, because the "genius" didn't used aether.

Both relativity theories are deductable one from each other, so one more proof that Einstein was A POS THIEF!!!

Going to the subject of this thread:

However, in 1905 Poincaré calculated that changes in the gravitational field can propagate with the speed of light if it is presupposed that such a theory is based on the Lorentz transformation. He wrote: Laplace showed in effect that the propagation is either instantaneous or much faster than that of light.

what is aether? do you really have a clue?

Maxwell was wrong.

There is no electric field and magnetic field reproducing at right angle and move at light speed, no transverse waves travel in space.

Why? Because both fields must have force carrier/charged particle to carry it. But space contains none.

Free electrons in a conductor synchronized vibrate, produce vibrating EM field. Other free electrons in other conductors follow the vibrating energy/EM force and vibrate at the same frequency. That is the true mechanism of EM waves.

Gravity is dependent on the mass of an object. The more mass, the more gravity. If mass is constant, gravity is static. Gravity has no velocity (speed). It is an inherent property of mass. It's like wet and water. Neither can be treated separately. Also, unlike electromagnetism, gravity has no positive and negative poles. No such thing as negative gravity.

Maybe aether is the Holy Grial: Dark Matter, assumed by almost every scientist today as a necesary matter, yet unproven in existance.

Regarding EM waves, any kind of RADIO receiver today is based on an antenna that picks up the electrical component of an EM wave. The field strength is measured in microvolts/meter and the Maxwell theory of EM waves have been used for 120 years, from early radiostations to modern smartphones and satellite receivers. Also applies to light when it comes to describe laser waves propagation, being the basis of worldwide used monomode fiber optics with Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), wich allows to convey up to 64 laser beams chanelized at different wavelengths, equally spaced.

And LIGHT, as EM waves, have no electrical charges because electrical fields are NULL. So, not a magnet or a charged capacitor (Huge ones) can deviate light or EM waves.

Re: Unresolved mistery: What is the speed of Gravity?
1 electron carries 1 negative charge

if we smash the electron into 1000000 equal pieces, each piece will carry 1/1000000 negative charge. Let's call it enertron.

since enertrons carry the same negative charge, they repel each other.

if we have a perfect bottle, which means no leakage, no react, like glass bottle to air.

we put 1000000 enertrons into the perfect bottle, since enertrons repel each other, they put a pressure on the bottle wall. let's measure and call that pressure 1 vote.

if we put 2000000 enertrons into the same bottle, the pressure on the wall should be 2 vote.

now if 1 enertron is moving or vibrating, the rest all enertrons will share the force according to their distance.

that is the mechanism of light/quantum.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 59686777

now if we put 1 positive charge into the perfect bottle, what will happen?

enertrons should be attracted by the positive charge and form a ball around it, the closer to the positive charge the denser enertron cloud. the density of the enertron is decay at 1/rrr due to the repulsion force between enertrons decay at 1/rr.

the enertron cloud is always vibrating, due to the existence of energy, the unbalance attraction force and repulsion force, within the enertron cloud and the center positive charge.

now image enertron is real thing, it carries a tiny negative charge, something like 1/10^33 electron charge, but it has stronger force field, similar to neodymium magnet compare with iron magnet.

image proton actually carries 918 positive charges, it attracted 917 total charges of enertrons formed a solid ball, 1 electron attached on the ball to form a neutrally charged hydrogen atom.

this is the real atomic structure.

atoms are solid balls, matter is not compressible. such as water.

if atoms are constructed as science told you, as qm bs model, why water is not compressible? electron shell/wave/cloud/orbital my ass, all bs.

No, atoms are not solid. There are no particles. They are charges and forces, specifically, the electromagnetic force.

You can verify this concept yourself by playing with magnets and making one magnet "float" above the other in your hand. The empty space between the magnets is analogous to the "empty space inside the atom".

(Of course, in this simple experiment, the empty space between the magnets is actually full of air, but that is not the point; the air is not what is making the magnet "float".)

Re: Unresolved mistery: What is the speed of Gravity?
empty space within atoms? 99.9999% empty space?

why is atoms/matters not compressible?

positive charged nuclear and negative charged electron are attracting each other, how could they don't stick together and have empty space in between?

laughable, foolish, yet mainstream science.
