Message Subject Unresolved mistery: What is the speed of Gravity?

I can't even fathom what a gravitational wave truly is . Does it move faster than light ?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75005924

The speed of gravity equals the speed of light.

Example: if the sun were to magically vanish it would take 8.3 minutes for the Earth to see it blink-out; at the same time we would experience the gravitational effect of losing said star (which of course is our 'sun').
 Quoting: The Figural

we do not circle around the visible star we rotate around the star in space, because the star is moving thru space all of the solar system would fall apart if we were pulled to the visible.

gravity is faster than light by enormous amounts, probably not instant across all of space.

i mean Einstein grav is so fail.
if gravity is equal to or less than speed of light
how can a black hole swallow light?

it would have to be stronger and faster.

broken. black holes can't exist within the current model. science is broken and we all know that.
