Dipping my feet into Stock Market
I got into stocks beginning of this year as a way to save money and make money of course and it's been pretty great . I've had a average ~30% return so far.

Last couple of weeks it's been up and down ( cause of all the fake news against Trump) but it's starting to look like it's getting better. I use a free app on my iPhone called Robinhood , fuck wasting money with those mainstream companies . Robinhood is the best stock trader company/ app ever made, its simple, intuitive and there are no trading fees.

I had 5 bitcoins back when they were $80 each. I hate myself for not saving them ( bought my best friend hash on the Silk Road for his birthday) so I'm treating companies I find to invest in the same way. I don''t want to say I wish I had or should have etc...

I found this company called 22nd century group (ticker : XXII )a few months ago, they're a biotech company who are working with tobacco and cannabis and controlling the amounts of nicotine and THC they produce.

They're working on making a cigarette that you use to quit smoking, since they can slowly lower someone's tolerance etc. The US government just order 2.4 million of them to test them out as they are still looking for FDA approval. If it passes then it will be Chantix's main competitor; could cause the price per share to skyrocket. I don't know but I've got a good feeling about them.

They've also managed to make a hemp plant that has no THC which is huge because that fact has been slowing down industrial hemp ever becoming a thing again here in the states .The DEA won't be able to say shit since there's no THC in it.

I bought 1000 shares when they were .85 cents and now they're ~$ 1.40 each

Anyone else here just start into the stock market world? Anyone else have any relatively cheap yet good potential companies to invest in they wouldn't mind sharing?

Thanks

Probably not a good time to dip to heavily, considering a major market adjustment is right around the corner.

THEY call it an adjustment, the rest of us call it a crash.

What other crypto currency is going to be as good as bitcoin? That seems super risky though

Yeah I'm not going to dip too heavily because that's always in the back of my mind, but I really don't think we'll ever see a total crash, well if it happened money wouldn't matter anymore anyways.

I'm just putting in extra money that I would somehow figure out how to blow on junk . Other than that I take any spare money at the end of the month and buy firearms and lammo, I like having physical goods that I could sell or trade in times of need.

I live in VA and what's cool is we have a Craigslist for guns called vaguntrader and you can sell and buy to/from anyone in the state legally.

Re: Dipping my feet into Stock Market
If you play/survive long enough the natural progression
in my humble redneck opinion is into options.
And if you get really serious you'll figure out
it's a lot easier to pick price areas where the market
isn't going and or you can control the probability
of the trade as to where the market isn't going in
XX time. Figure out how to structure trades around
that idea, and you'll not only survive, you'll thrive.
The stress is much lower in this type of trading.
I know a very successful trader who never looks at
a chart, ever. He trades strictly by the Greeks,
IV, and current price. He is of course always aware
of earnings dates and dividend dates.

Making 30% on one trade isn't unusual. No disrespect
intended. Put up 30% across your entire portfolio
year after year, you can toot your horn all day long.

Happy Trading
