CALLING ALL GIFtardz! I Need Help Making a New GIF!
Go to this link to watch a "rapper" get KTFO. It looks like he gets hit by a truck! And he magically keeps "rapping" after he is laid out 10 feet away from where he was standing. 5a

This would make an excellent GIF if any of you care to do it. If so, please post it here for all to enjoy!

Make a GLP'er a gif, and they'll have a gif for a vid. Teach a GLP'er to gif, and they'll gif for a lifetime. Let me show you how easy it is to gif your way to meme heaven. First, find the video on youtube if possible, easily done in this case:
[link to www.youtube.com (secure)]
Now, replace "www." with "gif" so that it becomes this:
[link to gifyoutube.com (secure)]
Voila. Now you can convert any part of the video to a gif. You can even add titles and animate them, like so:
defcon
Now, once you have your gif you need to compress it to fit within GLP's smilie limits. This is also easy to do, depending on the size and length. First get the direct link to the gif, like this:
[link to j.gifs.com (secure)]
Now google "gif compressor" and go to this site and paste the link:
[link to ezgif.com (secure)]
Now just tweak until it's less than about 190kb and 640x480 in size. This just takes some practice using the various tools to know what works best, but I usually start by cropping down as much as possible, then use optimize transparency if the background is stable (10% or so is usually a good balance between size reduction and fuzziness), then do "lossy gif" and max it to 200, dial back if extra space is available. Voila, you have your final gif sized to fit on GLP:
