Traditionally women are supposed to be muscular. They were the ones carrying gallons of water for miles, beating clothes with rocks in a river for hours, farming, handling large agricultural animals.

It's only the last hundred years where women have been told they should be physically weak and useless. And look at the behavior that comes from a body that neglects strength excercise, no wonder women are crazy in the head today.
