I prefer precious metals. That said, I found a novel way to cash out cryptocurrency with credit cards. Sell the lot on ebay.It could work with Digibyte.

I had a VERY small amount in Coinbase. I sold the fraction of a bitcoin I owned and had USD immediately. But no, I could not get it out. I am doing this as a learning experience so I gave up trying to get my USD out and went ahead and bought litecoins.

Initially, I moved my bitcoins around to several exchanges but couldn't cash out at any of them either. And of course, there is no customer service at any of them. One movement of bitcoins cost me about 3% of what I moved.

I sold 5 btc on GDAX last week. Two days later the USD was in my bank account. Never had any problems with GDAX exchange in the last 2 years Ive been using them.

I dunno i only made my first purchase yesterday... But trying to cash out on a day of a crash is a really silly idea.. You're supposed to take 10% profit out every now and then if the price keeps rising. That way you dont have to worry if theres a crash just keep your money in, and think about buying more when the crash bottoms out.

im new to coinbase but it seems to be hit and miss. I just tried to buy 30 quids worth of bitcoin but it said buy failed... but my weekly limit has gone down by £30. Its really anybodies guess as to whats actually happening on that website with transactions. I dont know whether im coming or going. So be warned.

We had 1 bitcoin in Coinbase. When the price of Bitcoin started to drop and Ethereum was increasing we used SHAPESHIFT.io and exchanged .9 bitcoins for about 6 ethereum. I can't remember the excact figures but it was a good move. It took Shapeshit 5 hours at the time to convert because of high volume. But it worked. A few hours later Coinbase shut down from too much volume.

i was just reading a natural news article that was saying that coinbase is closing accounts and not letting people sign back in so there investments are vanishing. coinbase cited certain state laws such as hawaii which allows them to shut down the accounts. i only glanced through the article so i didnt see which state law they were citing but the information appears legit.

coinbase is the the most difficult exchange to deal with. They are all about making the Govt happy and screw the customer.

To then later sell Bitcoins, and get profits back into my Coin base U.S.D. account takes minutes. To get profits deposited back into my bank account from my Coin base U.S.D. account takes five more working days, ( no weekends).

All of that was clear before I entered Coin base. Everything worked as expected. I don't understand these stories about people locked out of their Coin base accounts. Maybe they didn't do their homework?

The same people that didn't see Butterfly Labs coming and walking away with their money, won't see what's coming for cryptos. As it walks down from the 3k-3.5k top I called, they'll ride it down saying the next pop is right around the corner. In fact, it'll be years away at best.

Meanwhile, before bitcoin runs again, we will see great stock market euphoria, then grand despair. That's the timeframe calamity will occur on a grand scale due to the market shock and awe.

So the question is, when massive pain ensues, and while nearly no one in the public understands cryptos, do you think they'll be running to it? It's not serving as a medium of exchange, because no one is using it other to invest via the greater fool theory. There is no centralized entity to stand against the wind, to absorb booms or busts, and you can clearly see patterns in its movements. It's controlled, you can like that fact or not.

History has taught us that all throughout, there are grand schemes to suck wealth out of groups of people, through mass deception. Cryptos will be no different. What do I know? I discovered bitcoin just over a dime, and I discovered Butterfly Labs as the scam they were, nearly a year before they were exposed. Roll the die...
