Imcompetant more than a war monger. When the Third Berlin Crisis started he made all the worst choices he could. We watched the buildup of armies in Europe live on TV for six months. The biggest tank armies the world had ever seen, millions of men on either side. When the blockade began he pushed the American army into East Germany, the Soviets pushed back. Two giant war machines crashing into each other head-on. Then it kicked off everywhere.
