That Assad is a turrrrible man who drops chemical barrells on those very peoples relatives. Look at how they take out their revenge on him by offering to give poisoned food, and take selfies with his mangled body.

In what way do you mean it is staged? The cameraman obviously is there to record Assad's visit as video is uploaded by account of Syrian Presidency, of course it is a pre planned visit but this is a regular market in Damascus which Assad visited during Ramadan, last years during Ramadan for example he visited Syrian Army on front lines.

Wouldn't it be great if we were a type of people that could have our leader walk amongst us. So why can't the supposed greatest people in the supposed greatest country have this. Well you know deep down why, don't you.

Both he and his wife are western educated, and he is a medical doctor. He is nothing like his father and protects Christian minorities. He and his wife are Alawite. Anyway, he has done nothing to any of us, so leave him alone to govern his country. Ironically, Saddam and Qhaddafi never threatened us either, and they protected Christian minorities in their respective countries as well.

As for Gaddafi, the very bottom line: he was killed for the gold that was meant for his people...and probably control of their wide Mediterranean coastline, among others.

Look at Ukraine. We went in there with trucks full of money and propaganda to create the same conflicts and civil unrest we do everywhere else where we ultimately want something they possess.

In Ukraine, they blamed Russia, who was only there to protect the western region with deep Russian roots, unlike the north and west portion, that had Polish and Eastern European heritage.
