I have my family car and my beast! I'm 50, and have built around (15) cars. All different to the next. Some big horse power, some just heavily cosmetically modified.

It is getting expensive now though, at least it is here in OZ, with the traditional muscle cars going through the roof in prices.

What pisses me off is that most of these cars are never driven, and have become 'collector cars' just for investment purposes, which drives up all the next tier models.

But you dont need to spend big dollars to have fun modifying and customising.

Having said that, I'm into my biggest project yet. I'm building from scratch. The whole enchilada. I am using some components from other cars obviously, but chassis, styling, interior will be all my own design and engineering. I'm giving myself (3) years to do it.

My biggest issue is space!
