You have to keep replacing it over and over which gets expensive. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73142564 Things like avocados, i can't buy that in bulk because by the 5th day of the week they have gone bad so i have to keep going out day by day and buying this stuff. Same with other fresh fruit and vegetables. Buying bananas in bulk is no good because they have gone black by the end of the week and i am not going to eat 4 bananas a day. A jar of almond butter is so small that it only lasts me maybe 4 days. If i buy 2 jars it costs like 15 dollars! Same thing with natural peanut butter or coconut oil. Almond milk the same. The amount of almond milk required for a low carb bodybuilding diet means i would have to buy an entire crate of the stuff to last a couple of weeks which again is very expensive. How do you buy enough of this stuff to make it last you without keep going out and replacing it all the time? lol most the people here are poor so no you all read wishing you lived clean and then tell everyone else to eat clean while u are eating fucking totinos lel I am poor and Ive been hungry. When you see poor, steal if you have to to start buying food in bulk. Start with oil. It adds nutrition to your totinos. Cheaper in bulk. Then protein. Sardines are cheap. Gross, but with olive oil and pasta or on your totinos...You can do it. Rice and beans is protein. Not great protein but will keep you full Steal guns to sell for foodstamps to buy big bulk bags of rice and beans. Once you have a gallon of oil and bulk rice and beans, your money is freed up for fresh fruits and vegetables. Kicharee is good cheap food. Its half basmati rice and half split moong dal with a few spoons of vegetables and yoghurt. When you can fill up on rice and beans dirt cheap with good quality oil and animal protein you arent wasting money. |

Containers can be reused 2 liter bottles. Also join a community garden. Seeds can be kept from organic food. Perennials are best for less work and better results. Soil can be composted from neighbor's grass and leaves. Just make sure the grass is not sprayed. Also there is guerilla gardening. Just put seeds down on vacant land near you. I live in Britain, where our food costs are far higher than yours: do you pay $1 for one apple? I'm a vegetarian, and have been a stable weight for years, I spend £15 a week on food. (About $30). I eat fresh, not processed stuff, and buy food every couple of days, not in bulk. If you want to put on weight, just eat more cream, butter, Greek yogurt. |
