Quoting: Anonymous Coward 201785You're like the voice of god speaking directly to me. All I eat are eggs. Not really. I have to mix it up to keep the missing-out masses off my back. I eat a normal dinner. All I think about is eggs. Lightly cooked. Yolk hot, GOOEY and crumbly! Ohhh the energy. |

Quoting: ThanatosFor a while. You might be a little short on some of the vitamins though, and it would get pretty boring. You get almost everything you need from raw egg yolks. cooking the eggs alters them profoundly, the protein is so profoundly altered in fact, that it turns from liquid to solid and completely tastes different. Warning: raw eggs contain bacteria, people who eat raw eggs have adapted immune systems and started low with just one drop, and tapered upward to eventually be able to consume entire raw egg yolks. raw egg whites must not be consumed. |

Please tell me you didn't just cut and paste that from wikipedia. Well prepared eggs are like fine cusine to smell, behold, taste. Refer to them only from a book of recipes and graciously. |

Free range eggs are better for you, no hormones and you know the chickens aren't locked in some horrible chicken hotel like what really exists out there. You can get free range eggs at the health food store. love, caitlin |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 205656 United States 03/07/2007 09:15 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, but you would be getting a high to toxic amount of cholesterol. Eggs have more cholesterol than any other food we commonly eat. One egg has 240 mg of cholesterol IIRC, but its all contained in the yolk. For comparison, one average steak has only about 60 mg cholesterol(all from memory, so this is IIRC). If you HAD to do this, I would suggest limiting the yolks to no more than 2-3 per day and eating more of the egg whites. The egg white contains a great source of protein and other nutrients. |
