The very large federal agency I worked for had a multi disciplinary committee of investigators like myself, EAP counselors, occupational nurses, HR and mgmt to assess credible workplace violence threats. Mostly oddballs off their meds, but a few wackos that had me waiting for the phone to ring in the middle of the night. It's a big difference if the new push for medical records is abused, those were off limits and counselors wouldn't even confirm if an employee reached out.
