Please Help! Bowel Issues
Hi

Back in February 2017, I believe I contracted a bad food poisoning of some sorts. When it happened, I was going to the bathroom up to 15 times a day. I took Flagyl (antibiotic) twice and I got better.

But as time has gone on, I am sensitive to everything I eat. I can't handle too much sugar, no oils or fried foods, no dairy, no fiber, it's been very challenging.

I've gone to my family doctor and he's sending me to a bowel specialist but that will take some time to see.

Has anyone experienced something like this after a food poisoning? I ate some watermelon yesterday and I had the runs all day today, from WATERMELON!

I can't take this anymore and I don't know what to do.

Any advice?

You may be Gluten sensitive! Try going Gluten free for awhile and maybe consider Pro-biotics? Helped me, help you? Maybe limit dairy too!

Maybe you need to recolonize your gut bacteria or something, maybe eat lots of lacto fermented food like kimchi.

Lol, or maybe you need poop transplanted into your gut lmao

Me and my coworkers got food poisoning in Morrocco and we weren't the same for months. Same thing happened to a friend in Pakistan, he was in the ICU a month over there. I had a killer bacterial GI infection and once I started taking Cipro it worked fast. I also did a holistic detox: look it up (apple cider vinegar, green tea, cranberry pills, cinnamon capsules, citrus, pro-biotic, sea salt, etc.). I went to intense too soon and had a horrible reaction called Henrick's Disease. So pace yourself.

I don't think I'm gluten sensitive. I am lactose intolerant and it's got progressively worse since this food poisoning. I just want to go back to normal.

I'm praying for a miracle at this point.

I should get back on the probiotics.

This, get some Kombucha Drink great for gut. Especially after Anti biotic.

Wow, damn, I'm sorry to hear this. Yeah there is like no information out there to help people in these situations.

I think I need to get back on the probiotics.
