Huge milk recall in Canada: 'foreign material' found in milk products

Ive worked on a dairy farm and at the start they had 165 cows, all with mastitis and the worse looking feet and just filthy.

After about 3 months we were down to 90 cows and producing more milk then with 165. Steam cleaned the barn, bought ice scrapers and spent days and weeks scraping caked on shit off everything.

But I remember I had a week off once and the boss milked. he didn't use 1 paper towel or 1 drip of the idodine prewash. He wasn't running the proper rinse/soapy wash/acid/rinse after each milking, just doing the first rinse with cold water.

Just another reason why I buy raw milk from a local farm. Pure and fresh. When I drink it, it's literally hours old. 10 years, and no problems.

I drank some of my milk before I heard the recall on AM news radio.
For the first time in years I have flu-like symptoms, raw throat , nasal rawness toward the back and headache.

That's what happens when you put milk in a bag instead of a plastic jug like God intended.

This is why I drink almond milk. No pus.
