I have been searching for the same answers OP. I have come to the conclusion that they dont want us to know or search. I believe that if you search hard enough, you will find the answer.

Humans always seem to want to explain the why when I think there is no why. It is fluid like all other things. There are parameters that are observable, that much is obvious. If I were to believe I was endless, being not bored seems to be my only goal. I achieve that goal through living moment by moment with a loose set of parameters to live by (morals etc). Other than that, I think its up to you.

According to most mediums, and spiritulist who can communicate with the otherside, we are here to learn. Who says 3d life is even natural? At this point we know nothing and we are afraid of death (built in for most life here)...so we invent magic tales to make ourselves feel better. As for the actual truth about any of it - no one knows. If they say they do, they want your $$.
