would join forces with ISIS to defeat Assad.

FFS, Clinton/Obama wanted to undermine Russia by first asking Syria if it was OK to build a pipeline for Qatari gas to be pumped through Syria to undercut Russian gas in Europe, then when Syria said no since Russia is an ally, they unleashed the Mujahideen, AKA Al Quaeda, AKA Al Nusra, AKA ISIS.

So the US is perfectly entitled to utilize proxy armies but god forbid anyone else does the same for the sake of the balance of the region.
