I'm not dead! and neither are a lot of my school friends from those days.

Life was harder in some ways, but so much easier and happier than it is today.

You could play in the street, even in the dark, walk home "the long way round" taking about an hour with your friends.

I don't even remember peer pressure. I feel so sorry for today's children with the need to have a better IPhone or similar than their friends. No drugs etc.
