The US Military WILL defend itself regardless of Russian cooperation, or the lack of.
Did the hotline system encourage US to down the Syrian Jet? Of course not.

It is called imperfect self defense and is a valid action. Besides, the US is the Worlds strongest military. Syria and Russia are NOT going to tell the US Military what to do. MAGA!
