Quite an easy fix for someone who really wants to solve these issues and not just talk about them. Trump needs to get off of his ass and DO something.

So have 90% of college/university courses and time spent with ONE professor teaching those courses ONLINE for the entire country. There is simply NO need to have thousands of campuses, dorms, outrageous tuition costs, etc, when the internet and computerized scoring solves all of those needs. Once a course is recorded, any student can view it as many times as necessary to understand and pass.

After someone gets their online Bachelors Degree from the exact same course that everyone else uses, they can choose to actually go to a physical school for another couple years of lab work and hands on specialties.

This idea eliminates 90% of college costs and the need for 90% of physical colleges and professors.

What we should do is return to the vo-tech and apprentice programs and return universities to a base undergraduate curriculum similar to Harvard and Oxford in the 19th Century. Math, Science, Latin, Rhetoric, and Grammar. Reduce the numbers going to college by 90%!

All courses should be online from grammar school to university. Taxes would go down. The amount of teachers needed would be reduced along with their salaries.

I've done both online and in class. I prefer being in the class. Do not get me wrong. Being able to watch a pre-recorded lecture nude is fun for the first time. And being able to break for a smoke is cool. And not having to attend class is nice. But, there is nothing like actually being in the classroom.
