I watched the program. They presented some persuasive scientific facts; I'm inclined to agree that the Sun has a lot to do with the climate changes on Earth, much more that the 6 billion humans can ever do.

Sun affects cosmic radiations reaching Earth atmosphere,
cosmic radiations affect clouds,
clouds affect Earth climate.

The program also mentioned that there is an entire business industry that is dependent on the media hype of global warming and the continuing flow of government grants for research in almost anything related to climate change in the 70s.
