This is so cool to ponder the what if's of all this! I too have often wondered about that news of how Stonehenge underwent a 'restoration' process. I mean damn, this ain't no Colonial house rehab equivalent! BTW, nearly spit my coffee everywhere w/ that hilarious imagined conversation coupled w/ that black-n-white pic of engineers/grunts working on the sacred site.
And my mind goes to all the crop circles poppin' up. Are these perhaps messages to us humans akin to 'don't be fooled! you're being misled! pay attn to what we say to you now'
Which then fast fwds to the ludicrous image in my head of ETs and humans in a game of Charades, Guess the Message.
And yes, Your Crumbliness (ROFL!), thank you for excellent thread continuation of one of the biggest mysteries for us all. This is why I love this crazy forum.

I'm glad you got a chuckle out of my caption for the
"Stonehenge restoration picture." I can really imagine
them talking about this as they proceeded to totally
CHANGE the original configuration of this important ancient
monument. I want to ASSUME that they meant well...that their
own interpretation of what they saw when they came upon the
tumble of megalithic stones fallen over and in disorder
...MUST be a stone solar calendar. Of course, since they
didn't have that sat picture of the whole complex of
Stonehenge including the geoglyphs of the Pleiades, Orion
and Taurus...they couldn't even begin to grasp the HUGE
message this complex was trying to send to humanity.
If changing Stonehenge was done deliberately, to hide
our true history, however, THAT borders on a criminal
act against all of humanity--as this was obviously, left
for everyone...not just some "special brotherhood." We
can't really know the "agenda" behind all of this...only
know that it WAS DONE and we need to make Stonehenge
right again--with its correct meaning CLEAR to everyone.
Letting people be misled and spend hundreds of dollars in
their travel and vacation expenses to "celebrate the
summer solstice" at a monument which wasn't intended for
that purpose seems a bit of a swindle. But, just like
everything else...just follow the money!
