We need to spend nothing on military but the fact is that the military and all of the militaristic worldwide expansion/annexing is the only thing keeping us afloat. Our debt is worthless, never to be paid and everyone knows that - biggest ponzi humans have ever known. They also know that we have the biggest military machine anyone had ever even dreamed of. Until something upsets that, we can print and sell bonds at gunpoint to everyone with any money.
