True. McConnel is establishment RINO. At some point in time , if Trump is to meet his major campaign promise to Build The Wall Trump must take his message over congressional RINOs directly to American people. IMO Trump can break the back of RINO resistance by taking issues like defund Planned Parenthood, defund 9th circuit, fund the wall etc directly to people--stop playing nice, crush Ryan and McConnel with pure outraged populist support.

OK look, for some reason the media, or anyone else, are not talking about why these countries are banned and not others. The root reason I mean. It's actually very simple. They don't have US embassies. That's it.

Anyone who has ever traveled abroad knows you go to the other countries embassy and apply for a visa. They vet you by their standards before you can obtain a visa to enter their country.

This is especially true for ppl traveling to America. They must go to our embassy and provide them with all documentation and information they need to decide if you can have a visa. If you refuse or can not provide any documentation required from you or their is a problem with your background then we do not issue a Visa and you can not come here.

These countries on the travel ban have no US Embassy, because they won't allow one, so there is no vetting process before they arrive here.

Then we have to detain them at the airport and do our own vetting process that should have been done by our consulate at the Embassy in their country before they came. If they do not pass the vetting process or do not have all their documentations in order we send them back to their country with a list of things they should have brought for next time or we deny them access to this country for good if their was something in their background that warranted their expulsion.

Iraq does not have a US embassy but worked with us to accomplish essentially the same thing. A vetting process we control in Iraq to vet ppl from their coming here. So we lifted them from the ban.

I can only assume they do not lay it out like this and explain it because it makes perfect sense and no one would have anything to complain about.

The lack of embassy in these countries is the exact reason why Obama also had these countries on a travel ban.

It seems to me they should permanently ban them all until we are allowed to have embassies in their countries for these common purposes of issuing visas according to our standards or a system we approve like with Iraq can be established.

If they refuse either of those solutions then fuck them forever until they do.

Never thought I'd say this because I can't stand him.... but I'd like to see Ted Cruz appointed as Kennedy's replacement.

The 3 dissenters wanted to enact it in full. They were all right leaning.

We've been at war for a long time in the Middle East America. Islamic jihadists want to kill innocent Americans. This ban is justified and was since day one, and will be until we get a better vetting system.
