I took the grandson fishing all weekend. I caught a 24 inch rainbow on six pound line with a tiny hook. It got off the hook at the shore and I went in after it and flung it to shore and the grandkid pounced on it. It took both of us to hold that thing down. LOL it was swinging both of us right and left, knocking us down.
We caught a lot of big fish. Best grandma and grandson fishing weekend ever. I even got up at three am this morning and we back and caught another 22 inch, a 19 inch and a few smaller ones. You need two spare tires to get to where we like to fish LOL. I only had one. another story.....

PS it is one thing to hike down to your favorite fishing hole, but it is another to hike back up the hill dragging 40 lbs of fish.
