Explosion inside TECO's Big Bend Power Plant kills two workers, critically injures four others

APOLLO BEACH, Fla. - An explosion inside Tampa Electrics' Big Bend Power Station killed two workers and critically injured four others on Thursday.

According to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, the blast happened around 4:20 p.m. at the plant located on Big Bend Road.
