What exactly are you celebrating? The 80% tax rate, the out of control immigration by a government that no longer represents anyone but themselves, mass surveillance, fiat money, police that beat kill and rob with impunity or maybe the property tax that guarantees you never really own anything? I could go on but you see my point.

The guys who started this grand experiment sailed across the ocean in rickety wooden boats filled with rats, ate shit food, got scurvy, were exposed to the elements for months, puked constantly from sea sickness and every storm cloud on the horizon meant possibly capsizing and either drowning, freezing or being eaten by sharks. Then when they got here they had to fight all kinds of new disease, wild animals and natives, shit in the woods and build things with their bare hands. After that, they all got hunted down by the King and most of those men, who could've lived a lazy life of luxury back home, instead chose to fight to the death. 'Over what?' you ask? 2%. A 2% tax that they felt was unjust.

Cut to today, after millennia of struggle, death, sacrifice and heroism and look at what's become of that amazing gift we were given; We are again debt slaves, being ruled by assholes and imprisoned in the land our forefathers conquered. July 4 should be a national day of pure fucking shame.
