the real zero point is inside you, Kabbalah calls it, the dot in the heart. | |

You can read about the 'hole in the heart' (metaphorical?) in the Talmud. There are many different meanings from this root lb ("heart"), such as "center", "intellect", "emotions", "flame", and "desire". The unifying Hebrew theme is two letters lamed-bet, "to the inside". It explains why the Hebrew dictionaries say things like this, "The 'heart' stands for the inner being of man, the man himself. As such, it is the foundation of all he does (Prov 4:4)." Strong's, Hebrew & Aramaic Dictionary, #3824. |

For example, I'm curious if the dot is referred to as the yod of the heart... Which do you think is more likely: (a) 'zero' is a lower dimensional perspective on a 'nine' - in other words, a zero and a nine are describing the same thing, like when you look at a spiral in 3D you see a "9" shape, but if you look at that same spiral directly (head on) in 2-D it is a "0" shape because the spiral arms overlap each other to your perspective... or (b) 'zero' and 'nine' are on equal footing in all dimensions, and are two sides of the same phenomenon, like electricity and magnetism. or (c) other. |

I read the root word nqd is about purity and cleanliness. In ancient Aramaic the word for 'zero' is lyTh ("not having" or "none"). The idea is that 'not having' sin makes one pure, and therefore the connection to the Creator is free. In Hebraic thought, the heart was considered the 'center' of the man. In physics, the center point is the point of strongest gravity. Imagine one heart so pure that all are (gravitationally) attracted to that one point. And now consider the symbolism of nqda ("shepherd") in the context of sheep (symbolizing photons/light) that follow inward to that point. |
