When humans are told to get rest when getting out of the hospital for example, they are told: "Get plenty of rest", not "Get plenty of comfortable rest". They're not babies, they're animals! Addressing pets with cute adjectives, wasting thousands of dollars on items that these pets really don't give a shit about, is a complete waste of resources that could benefit the senior and disabled human population. The pet industry is one of the most lucrative businesses in the USA. This shit has to stop. I'm not saying we must mistreat animals, I'm just saying a dog or cat doesn't deserve a fucking MRI or chemotherapy. What's next, an artificial heart for cats? Invest in the army vets, the disabled, the old and the poor. Wake up and start caring about your fellow humans FIRST. |

Animals- Your guide dog will get sick once, ie never again. She will get the very best of everything, every time even if it means you're on hard rations for a few weeks. Because if you don't stay home that 'bit off' day, you're stuck home for weeks as your Ferrari recovers. It's all context. And, sod it, if someone has just Fi-Fi and no-one else, rock on.
