Anonymous Coward User ID: 75160623 United States 07/14/2017 08:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | One raven in the experiment figured out how to work their rock/box contraption first, then began teaching the method to other ravens, and finally invented its own way of doing it. Instead of dropping a rock to release a treat, the future Ruler of the Raven Kingdom constructed a layer of twigs in the tube, and pushed another stick down through the layer to force it open. The bird had to be removed from the experiment before it could teach any other birds how to do it. I lived on a cattle farm, those cows had personalities and affection for each other. We are all cattle on this little blue planet. Wake the fuck up and figure out what is being harvested here. Btw crows are cool. |

Just because YOU don’t believe in the Rougarou; or the Loup Garou, don’t make you safe; No ! The Constitution is a blend of 'moral certitude' -- which is one of the reasons that criminals are determined to be rid of it and We the People must be even more determined to defend it. As soon as you figure out how time and the universe works, some scientist comes around and says, no you can't do that. Currently, the raven that discovered how to work the contraption first has been dissected and its nervous ganglia cloned to be used in an AI experiment. That's what you get for being a smart ass, raven. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 46412553 United States 07/14/2017 09:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | They're incredibly intelligent birds, ever befriend one they'll never forget you. I had a regular stop not long ago in California, the same three always approached me, and I always gave them a few slices of bread. Then one day one of them landed on my mirror on my vehicle door. He was repeatedly hopping up and down squawking and then would pause to tilt his head up at the sky then look me in the eye. He was warning me that a storm was coming, and when he knew I understood he flew away with his friends behind... less than 30 minutes later a storm blew in off the mountains, there was hail damage, wind damage and a truck blown over on the highway, followed by flash flooding... I've wondered since how that bird could have possibly known, and why he felt compelled to warn me. I haven't stopped there in a while and have never encountered ravens there since then. |
