The Department of the Navy is planning war games for their “Atlantic Fleet Training and Testing Phase III” and while the ‘study area’ extends along the entire east coast (see map) there are only two areas indicated as testing ranges, and one is smack-dab on top of us, the coast of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. And Long Island, New York, as well if I’m not mistaken.

The Navy intends to fire missiles, rockets, lasers, grenades and torpedoes, detonate mines and explosive buoys, and use all types of sonar in a series of live war exercises in inland and offshore waters along the East Coast.

In New England, the areas where the weapons and sonar may be deployed encompass the entire coastline, as well as Navy pier-side locations, port transit channels, civilian ports, bays, harbors, airports and inland waterways.

The Navy describes the weapons exercise as a “major action.” The live ammunition training includes the use of long-range gunnery, mine training, air warfare, amphibious warfare, and anti-submarine warfare. The Navy says weapons use near civilian locations is consistent with training that has been done for decades.

I don’t know what has happened to Andrei Nekrasov – money or threats.

Heidi Hautala was once ok, speaking up for human rights in Russia. After representation in EU Parliament she took up work with the Finnish Government, but was removed because of outright threats from Moscow. She has been incredibly naïve, and involved herself with the Finnish-Russian Friendship Forum. This is headed by Michael Storsø, a guy who pretends to be an ardent Putin critic, but is the opposite. Rather dubious business projects may have been covered up by friends, and that requires som compensations. Amongst other things he has been hosting the Kavkazcenter website with Movladi Udugov, a Chechen guy who has always been seen to be close to the Chechen militant resistance. Now, the case is that the militant resistance has been closely coordinated by FSB. Movladi Udugov, and particularly his half-brother Isa Umarov have all the time been top FSB agents. Terrorist actions like the Dubrovka theatre and the Beslan school were coordinated by FSB. In that sense – apparent opposites like Ramzan Kadyrov’s regime and the apparent enemy - the militant resistance - have all the time been instruments in the hands of Moscow. Michael Storsø is part of the plot. He has over time captured the confidence of Heid Hautala. She has fallen in love with Andrei – and now they are both in Brussels to appear as a moth peace of the Kremlin – actively contributing to undermining the truth, reputation of Magnitsky and to torpedo a Magnitsky act by the European Parliament.

I spoke with Eeva Heikkila, once Heidi’s advisor, now practicing law in London, and David Satter, about this today. We are all ready to see you on short notice about this if you require it. (David by phone.) Eeva is also extremely frustrated about Heidi undermining the credibility of the Greens in Europe. She mentioned Edward McMillan Scott ought to be a person to contact in order to get a statement.

Please read my article in Jamestown some years back. It refers to a process I was very much involved, and puts attention on Storsøe and his ambitions. Then you get the picture of what is now happening. I bet Storsøe will be present in Brussels this evening.
