Foot problem help needed
About 6 months ago I started having trouble with my feet. My heels started getting scaly and over time, it kept getting worse. This covers my whole heel on both feet. For years my feet have burned like they were on fire, so my doctor has been testing me for diabetes and all tests come back fine. I have filed my heels, soaked my feet with epson salt, out triple antibiotic ointment on them, thinking maybe athletes feet I sprayed Ninactin on them, put tons of lotion on them, drank more water. Then I went to my family doctor again recently and she gave me a prescription for fungal cream hoping that it was something like that. After 2 tubes of that, still didnt help. I was then sent to a heart doctor thinking maybe circulation problems, the heart doctor ran a vein test and artery test. All good there. Now they are sending me to a foot doctor. My feet crack so back and have blisters come up in them. I am thinking possibly that my body is discharging toxins? Does anyone know what this could be?

I have Lupus and Lichens Planus and am having great success treating my feet with vinegar. No more peeling, burning, itching. Cheap and fast, it worked immediately and lasted a week. Good luck!

It looks like flesh-eating virus. The vinegar will cause it to go in remission, but then it will develop a resistance to it and come back with a vengeance. You have only a couple of days before it starts eating the rest of your leg.

I'm sorry I didn't get back here sooner! You are very welcome, and I'm glad it worked for you too! You probably won't believe this, but I am a Deb born 1964 too! I don't know how it works exactly, but I'm thinking that vinegar is antibacterial/antifungal. I soaked a papertowel with vinegar and rubbed it on my feet and wrists and let it air dry. I was so happy it worked! I can't help but wonder if the dr's know about vinegar and skin issues and just don't tell us. I'm really glad it worked, your foot looked really sore. :)

I was going to suggest soaking your feet in cheap apple cider vinegar. 4 or 5 minutes a day. It's made my feet nice and soft and smooth.
Funny how 'social security' has a shortfall...but never WELFARE!

Gimme a break.

Somehow, we can always afford ALL types of welfare (even for millions of illegal immigrants!), plus billions in foreign aid to nations that hate us...BUT...social security is a "problem".

Nah, the problem is the goobermint...Unknown AC.

Blame it on my ADD, baby.

Re: Foot problem help needed
Regular Amlactin lotion is the ONLY thing that ever worked on my dry heals topically. I still smooth them a little but just to get the dirty look off after being outside.

I was miserable like you... The Amlactin causes dead skin to slough off which for some reason we have a problem doing.
If you have any cuts, the Amlactin stings so go around that.

The other thing is prescription Lamasil ORAL. It's an ORAL not topical. It will clear up jock itch, toenail fungus, dermatitis, athletes foot....., softened my feet ALOT. I may do it again because I get candida overgrowth from too much sugar and I notice the dermatitis coming back a little.

btw: Wearing sandals and summer heat cracks the feet.

Re: Foot problem help needed
It sounds like what I have gone through. I have sciatica that is triggered by eating MSG. Look up a picture of the nerves in your legs and feet. The sciatica is very painful in my feet especially the ankles and bottoms. I went undiagnosed for many many years and it just got worse and worse, solved it myself finally and most doctors still refuse to recognize or treat it as such. It evolved into neural dermatitis (on my feet), very dry, itchy, scaly, sores, and sometimes an unnatural dark gray color that doesn't wash off. I don't have diabetes or lupus. The only cure is to completely avoid MSG.

Use a foot blam cream every morning and fungal cream every night after washing feet. Do this every day without fail for 3 months.

It is a fungal infection for sure. It will have gone very deep so you will have to be fanatical about application of the creams every day and night.

Smell your shoes. If any smell bad or musty throw them out.

Keep gong at least a month after it all looks better.

You could also mixa little DMSO with the fungal cream to help it penetrate.

Try taking canestan once as well, once week for 2 weeks.

Type foot heel fungus into google and select images. They match your feet.

The vinegar soak in the evening before the fungal cream will really help. Vinegar kills fungus too.

OP, put a little salt on it. Preheat oven to 350° then bake da foot for 45 minutes. Serve over a bed of brown rice with a squeeze of lemon or lime. Yum.

OP, this looks exactly like Palmoplantar pustulosis (PPP) which is an uncommon type of psoriasis of the hands and feet. The key is the blistering you are experiencing. Please do yourself a favor and see a good dermatologist. This is an autoimmune disorder which can be treated by oral, topical or light therapy. I have it, and have been in a good remission for years now. Mine manifests primarily on the palms of my hands. Good luck.
