It has nothing to do with emotional support steakhead....she's telling you that only you can make you happy and that she doesn't want to be responsible for your happiness. She's 100% right and it has NOTHING to do with being supportive to you in any way. It is entirely possible to be emotionally supportive of someone and yet not be responsible for their happiness. It is best to go out and find happiness together and share in it and that goes for everyone.
