Call me crazy, but how does McCain have the power/authority to manipulate things to this extent?

arkansassy I also remember a senator or congressman that quit , bought a place to make a sustainable farm and told the world that doom was coming in a few years, he found out while in govt. I cannot for the life of me remember who it was, or if it was govt office or nasa, but it was someone that would know. Funny, this weekend heard that so much real estate in Cali has been bought by "foreigners" as a place to stash their cash cause they don't trust anyone or anything. Then a New Yorker said many apartments are empty and being bought for the same purpose. He went so far as to say that neighborhoods have so many foreign buyers with apartments they leave empty that businesses have no traffic and are having trouble staying alive.

Makes you wonder if this is true. Another friend just came back from a business trip to africa for the foreign corporation he works for and said "everyone over there is chinese" so who knows really what the heck is going on.
