Let me be the first.  This is so laughable it's not even funny anymore. The legacy media is tripping over themselves to cover up a record high DOW and call a minor drop in the dollar index as a tumble. I'm a 15+ year Wall Street veteran and former registered Democrat. This political hijacking by the Democrats has got to end and is one of the reasons I left the party. President Trump's tax reform would add 2.5-3% GDP growth overnight, and we would be looking at minimum 35k on the DOW, which is why the Democrats are doing everything to block his agenda. They would rather see the economy stagnate or even collapse than to see America prosper under President Trump. Their hatred, as you have certain proven, is a psychosis. It really doesn't matter that much in the long run. The US economy is strong, indeed the strongest, most robust economy in the world. Trump's tax plan is the best I have ever seen and again, the reason the Democrats will fight it. That's it. Everything else is just noise. Shame on the Democrats. Since I can't edit my post, I'll add to it here with a reply. I don't own any guns. I'm not in a "flyover state." I live in Hoboken NJ, one of the biggest preppy towns on the east coast. I don't drive a Ford pickup or hang my American flag outside. I don't even own an American flag. I don't really care that much about the refugee crisis and if Trump allows many or few Muslims into this country. With all of that said, I will never be a Democrat ever again. My former party is the most corrupt, vile party the world has ever know this side of Stalin's BR communists and Mao's people's communist party. The only thing Democrats have not done is start to round up large numbers of people and kill them. The current financial situation is such that President Trump would get the economy going like never before, and that would decimate the Democrats for all eternity. That's it. That is what the hold up is all about. And for that, party over country style of politics, I will do everything in my own personal power to make sure the Democrats are destroyed. Similar background. Also former Dem, never again. I'm independent now but had to register as a Republicanin order to vote for Trump. You summed it up nicely. Thank you. I can never see myself going back to the Democrats. I'm actually quite liberal but the Democrat's have exposed themselves as the most corrupt, "the ends justify the means" type of party. All politics are dirty but this election was the clincher for me. Now they continue to push this Russia-Trump story and all it is doing is fracturing the party even further, which at this point is fine with me. I no longer care what happens to them. They deserve it and more. As I said in my OP, the Democrat's are only blocking this because they know it would juice the economy and really get people back to work and even increase wages organically. This would be very bad for them. They have shown their true colors and hatred for America.
