The US never was a democracy, so of course. It has always been a Republic.

Through an unwieldy combination of big government, big military, big business, big labor and big cities, we have created an unworkable mega-nation which defies central management and control. Not only is the United States too big, but it has also become too authoritarian and too undemocratic, and its states assume too little responsibility for the solution of their own social, economic, and political problems.

The US needs to get back to what made America great. Peace, freedom, personal responsibility, small government, few regulations, and a balanced budget.

ATF, DEA, the Commerce Dept., CIA, Amtrak, EPA, NSA, FCC, Homeland Security, Dept. of Education, Obamacare, SBA, and PBS need to be eliminated.

No one is fan of the IRS. Maybe a national sales tax would better than an income tax.

Illegal immigrants suck because they're brown and illegal, but the US is a nation of immigrants. Welfare needs to be ended so the bums would stop looking for a handout. Maybe a better immigration plan would be reciprocal between countries. Japanese couldn't work in the US if Americans couldn't work in Japan, for example.

The US does NOT need most regulations. Let the free market handle bad businesses. The US didn't have a FDA in 1776 and we don't need it now.

A Constitutional Convention should be called to strengthen the Constitution.

If these steps fail, then the US should secede by states or counties.
