As a kid I made balloons out of the very thing protecting "bags" that the laundry used for coats and dresses.

Filled them with the cooking gas that we had then, not natural gas, it was technically made out of coal.

Now if I would have made such a bag out of an emergency blanket with the gold layer on the outside...it would look like that video.

Other than that, I have no explanation.
