i really believe it is silly for people to put of child rearing for any reason.

have your children young (if you can) while you and your spouse are in the height of your health. you will be giving them the strongest gift.

however, don't forget that people of all ages get married. i remember the wedding of my widowed grandfather at 65 ish.

in general, you get married when you find the right person. and not an instant before.

for the poster who said marry a professional, i made more money that my husband when we married. over time we slowly weened off my salary and i became a stay-at-home. hubs got 2 advanced degrees because i was there to keep the home lights burning and has had a very good career. we are very happy with the way our lives have gone.

i would say marry a person you ADMIRE. a person with similar background, morals, work ethic and probs born in the same decade.
