Get married and have kids when you're in your early 20's. You'll be young, healthy and fertile with a lower risk of birth defects occurring.

Also, your parents will still be reasonably young and your grandparents will likely still be alive. Why rob your kids of a chance to know their grandparents and great grandparents because you put off having children for too long?
